Happy New Year Guys!! :) Whether the World will end in 2012 or not, it surely was great start for me! :) Am so delighted to take part as a volunteer for Matsya 's Stall at one of the Arts and Crats Exhibition held by By Hand From The Heart BY hand , In chennai on 6th and 7th of this Month.

Matsya - founded by Neha Gandhi- is an attempt to bridge the grassroots tribal artisans and urban masses. Matsya also conducts Craft tours which aims at getting a first hand look at how the traditional handicrafts are practiced and gives a chance to meet the artisans in person n interact with them and gain knowledge on Indian traditional crafts, of course take back an amazing experience and stories :) Check out the website for more info on these tours or Contact Neha Gandhi .
Am really looking foward to take part and volunteer for her stall on the upcoming event, will definitely be learning a lot from one of my inspirations- Neha Gandhi- A very strong minded women who is keen on what she wants and wants to make a difference in Traditional Indian arts and crafts Field and has achieved it through Matsya and wants to spread it further.
I really keen on working with her n gain knowledge in the field of my interest too.Will share pics post the event.!! Stay tuned :)
