And so friends am back to share my post experience at the matsya 's stall at the exhibition which happened on 6th n 7th of jan by the by hand from the heart show.!! Well i should say it was an awesome experience to be on the other side of stall (i.e not being the customer !! ), i did learn how to sell products to customers,talk to clients, meeting new people, maintaining a good rapport with regular customers, observing the customers response to the products etc. So read on as i share my experience.. :)
The Big Day
6th Jan- the day long awaited had arrived..! I was all excited and reached the venue a 8.30 am and was eagerly waiting to meet the founder/designer of matsya ,Neha Gandhi. excitement and nervousness builds up at the same time.., and there she was!! A simple women dressed in a plain black casual clothing getting out of an auto rickshaw loaded with matsya's wonderful products , greeted me with a big warm smile and hug.! I have to tell this that she is an amazing person, so simple, down to earth, contrary to what i had imagined !! :)
The show had to begin by 10.00am, and so we started unpacking the products and put them on display, and so we got down to the business, the response was pretty good, meeting new customers, old customers coming all the way just for matsya and Neha- Wow! thats the relationship she has with her regular customers.
As the event went on, we shared our thoughts, stories , interests, etc., and at the end of the day I decided that I wanted to contribute something for matsya, and Neha was so kind enough to have confidence and faith in me for giving me a wonderful opportunity to work with matsya. And so I begin my wonderful journey with matsya and looking forward for a great sailing ahead.!! :)

would be more great, to write a post separately, by taking few products, max 5, and a small write-up on the story behind that product.. i'm not sure if that's possible rite now, but, i'm sure that, there would a story behind each of the product displayed...
